Australian Museum

The Australian Museum is the oldest museum in Australia, and the fifth oldest natural history museum in the world, with an international reputation in the fields of natural history and anthropology.

Carriberrie is a virtual reality journey of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dance, music and song, set across stunning Australian landscapes. Project Discovery hoarding and signage designed for the Australian Museum as it underwent renovations. The signage features work from German born ichthyologist Marcus Bloch. Published from From 1782 to 1797, the multi-volume illustrated encyclopedia on the history of fish, Allgemeine Naturgeschichte der Fische (republished in French as Ichthyologie) contains illustrations from several artists. The definitive study of fish at the time of its publication, Ichthyologie is still considered one of the greatest ichthyology works ever produced. Copies of his works reside in the Australian Museum Research Library.

Collateral for the Australian Museum’s education programs including Conversation Starter Cards. The pack of 50+ cards uses a series of thought-provoking prompts to ignite creative dialogue and help young visitors investigate the specimens and objects on display at the Australian Museum.
